Every early sketch for Little Fox had him crawling DOWN from the awning—tail stretching up the wall, face and front paws reaching toward the ground. I loved the idea of bringing his face low enough for people to stand beside him and take photos.

It made sense. It was fun. It was…not quite working.

Last month, I channeled all my feels (good, bad and ugly) into my debut mural! A piece of art at this scale (and VERY public) has been on my list for a while now, and I am so, so proud of this.

“Mom” is located in Black Cat Alley, on Milwaukee’s East Side. This location holds such a special place in my heart and I couldn’t be more thrilled with this opportunity to leave my (very colorful) mark among the other beautiful pieces lining the street.
